Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Document all patient interactions, care provided, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.
- Ensure a safe and sterile environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Missouri.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New graduates are considered).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
