Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and conditions continuously, reporting any significant changes to the attending physician.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless patient transitions.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in the electronic health record system.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred, with ICU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry experience a plus.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
