Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in 24-bed ICU unit
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and interpret diagnostic results
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document electronic health records with precision and timeliness
- Mentor new staff and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN # required)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience with BSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years ICU/telemetry experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
