Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients using advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) protocols
- Administer medications and treatments with precise dosage calculations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document electronic health records with 100% accuracy and timeliness
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care procedures
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations including codes and rapid responses
- Maintain sterile environments during complex procedures
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN # required)
- BSN degree or higher (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years critical care nursing experience
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
