Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs using advanced monitoring systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR systems
- Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and health management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license (or compact license with Arizona endorsement)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience in Level 1 trauma center
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with ventilators, arterial lines, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in Epic EMR systems
