Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced critical care monitoring and interventions for ICU patients
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care plans
- Document patient assessments and care using Epic EMR system
- Maintain sterile environment and infection control protocols
- Educate patients/families on post-ICU recovery procedures
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana RN license (required)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 5+ years ICU experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (current)
- Minimum 2 years ICU/critical care experience
- Strong assessment skills for complex patient conditions
- Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
