Responsibilities
- Deliver critical care to post-surgical and trauma patients in ICU setting
- Administer complex medications via IV, PCA, and enteral routes
- Implement and interpret advanced cardiac monitoring (EKG, arterial lines)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for rapid response interventions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with 100% compliance
- Provide family education during critical care transitions
- Participate in ICU quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (compact license accepted)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience (cardiac/neuro preferred)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Spanish language proficiency highly valued
