Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring patient health and administering medications as prescribed.
- Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.
- Document patient care services accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Respond to medical emergencies with critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Illinois RN license (IL-RN).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
