Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision and safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care coordination
- Document patient information accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment plans
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions, including emergency situations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA RN license required)
- BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
