Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs in accordance with hospital standards.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, while maintaining precise documentation in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
- Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and changes in patient conditions to ensure optimal safety outcomes.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment, adhering to all infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current, valid, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and clinical assessment skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a focus on teamwork and patient safety.
