Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status, documenting all findings accurately in electronic health records.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and lifestyle modifications to ensure compliance.
- Respond to medical emergencies promptly and effectively, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous staff education programs.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New graduates will be considered).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
