Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse populations in a fast-paced acute care setting
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR systems with precision
- Monitor and respond to patient status changes, including emergency situations
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/nights
