Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Monitor and maintain infection control standards to ensure patient safety
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning opportunities
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Kansas
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- ACLS/BLS certification required (or obtainable within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
