Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and health status, reporting any significant changes to the medical team immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide clear education to patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in our EHR system.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
