Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions through comprehensive patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with state licensure and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to therapies, reporting any changes immediately to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Respond promptly to code blue situations and emergency medical interventions.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of a fast-paced medical environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Computer proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
