Responsibilities
- Assessment & Care Planning: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop individualized nursing care plans based on physician orders and patient needs.
- Medication Management: Accurately administer medications and treatments, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and documentation standards.
- Vital Monitoring: Continuously monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, promptly reporting any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease management, discharge instructions, and preventive care strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license issued by the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
