Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care by assessing patient needs, administering medications, and monitoring health status.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and promptly in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to strict protocols, infection control measures, and facility regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians to provide updates and address concerns.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment plans and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
- Active RN License issued by the State of Minnesota.
- BLS and ACLS Certification required (ACLS preferred for certain units).
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; diploma holders welcome.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
