Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and general wards
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge procedures
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols at all times
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois RN license (or compact license with quick endorsement process)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in acute care setting
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred for critical care roles
- Strong proficiency in EMR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Excellent critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with relevant experience encouraged
