Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health status and administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Document patient care activities, vital signs, and reactions accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and update patient care plans.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to medical emergencies and changing patient conditions.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a sterile environment and strictly adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Assist in triage and prioritize nursing interventions in a high-volume clinical setting.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting patients.
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory for immediate hire candidates.
