Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, escalating care as needed.
- Document patient care plans, progress notes, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Current, active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience (acute care or Med-Surg preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
