Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments and implement individualized care plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and legal standards.
- Vital Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records and electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment approach.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease management, discharge instructions, and preventive care.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (TX).
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems.
