Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and patient status, escalating concerns promptly to physicians.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the wider interdisciplinary team.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health management, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and care provided.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (new graduates welcomed with mentorship).
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to lift and move patients as necessary; physical stamina required.
