Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ICU/ER/Telemetry units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor and document patient vitals and responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Implement patient education and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Adhere to JCAHO and OSHA standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee
- BSN or Associate's in Nursing required
- BLS/ACLS certifications (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
