Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms closely, reporting any changes or emergencies immediately.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough medical records and documentation in our EMR system.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred based on unit.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining a patient-centric approach.
