Responsibilities
- Assess and Monitor: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease management and post-care instructions.
- Clinical Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient progress and interventions in electronic health records.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in code blue situations.
Qualifications
- License: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
- Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certification required (PALS/ENPC preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills.
- Technology: Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
