Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established medical protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health conditions and post-care instructions.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies and critical care situations with professionalism and composure.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of North Carolina.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
