Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with medical protocols and standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and ensure accurate documentation of patient records.
- Monitor vital signs and observe patients' general condition for signs of illness, injury, or infection.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide patient education and support to families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment to prevent infections and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
