Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care under the direct supervision of charge nurses and physicians.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately to the healthcare team.
- Assist patients with daily living activities and personal hygiene to ensure their comfort and dignity.
- Accurately document patient care activities, symptoms, and medical histories in electronic health records.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in hospital orientation and continuing education to maintain professional competency.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
