Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by conducting physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and update patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond to medical emergencies and assist in code blue situations as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality of care standards.
- Valid state ID and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
