Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with medical protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring safety and accuracy at all times.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond swiftly to any changes or emergencies.
- Document patient care activities, symptoms, progress, and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital safety and infection control policies.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and handle multiple priorities.

- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
