Responsibilities
- Assess patient health issues and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and intervene immediately when necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care plans, treatments, and responses to interventions accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate bedside manner and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
