Responsibilities
Monitor patient health and report vital signs and changes to the medical team.Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards.Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop patient care plans.Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.Respond promptly to emergency situations and code blue activations.
Qualifications
Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care experience preferred (new graduates accepted with internship).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EHR).
