Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with healthcare regulations and protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, reporting any changes immediately to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care activities, interventions, and responses accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care support as needed.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and high standards of care.
