Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practice.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, escalating critical concerns immediately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and therapists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide clear education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Kentucky.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
