Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and general floors
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient vitals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient records accurately in electronic health systems (EHR)
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky (or compact license)
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing with 2+ years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with electronic health records (EPIC, Cerner, etc.)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
