Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in 24-bed cardiac telemetry unit
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs using advanced telemetry systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
- Provide patient/family education on cardiac health and recovery protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor new nursing staff through our clinical ladder program
Qualifications
- Active Kentucky RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care cardiac experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
