Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing comprehensive medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians in strict accordance with established protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in close collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide thorough patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
- Monitor patient progress and rapidly adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions, care provided, and treatment responses.
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical support during high-stress situations.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
