Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Document patient care activities, symptoms, and progress accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist during code blue situations.
- Maintain a sterile, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in high-pressure settings.
- Familiarity with basic computer operations and Electronic Health Records systems.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient advocacy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as required.
