Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the healthcare team immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
- Document patient care services in medical records in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care support when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
