Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families regarding their treatment plans.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other staff to ensure holistic patient care.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (New Grads Welcome).
- CPR and BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a high-paced team environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
