Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing a comprehensive nursing care plan.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and progress, responding promptly to any changes or emergencies.
- Document all patient care services in medical records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan.
- Graduated from an accredited nursing school within the last 12 months (New Graduate) or currently enrolled in an accelerated program.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree (ADN) accepted.
- CPR/BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital environment.
