Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across multiple units including Med-Surg, ICU, and Emergency Department
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical progress in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Active Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain immediately
- NCLEX-RN exam passed or scheduled within 90 days
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with emotional resilience
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
