Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies and nursing standards
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions under physician supervision
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Participate in shift handoffs and unit-based quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Clinical rotation experience during nursing program
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to professional development and continuing education
