Responsibilities
- Assess patient health conditions by gathering medical history, symptoms, and vital signs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans in real-time to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in electronic health records.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by following hospital protocols and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Louisiana.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
