Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status to identify changes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations.
- Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Nursing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with EMR/EHR software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
