Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care across diverse patient populations during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining accurate documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations with critical decision-making skills
- Monitor patient vitals and progress, intervening proactively to prevent complications
- Utilize Epic EHR systems for real-time patient data management
- Mentor junior staff through clinical guidance and best practice implementation
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (active and in good standing)
- BSN degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience with night shift preference
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC/PALS preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in critical care or emergency nursing
- Exceptional communication skills for high-pressure night-shift scenarios
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions and workflows
