Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations with critical thinking
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide patient education and support to families during night hours
- Mentor new staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Minnesota (or compact license)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in a hospital setting
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong clinical skills in critical care or emergency nursing
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Exceptional communication and decision-making abilities
