Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Support patients with mobility, transfers, and walking using proper lifting techniques.
- Prepare and serve meals while respecting dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents and patients.
- Document care activities and observations accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Florida.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Demonstrated compassion and patience when working with the elderly or medically vulnerable.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
