Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients during overnight hours
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations effectively
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members for coordinated care
- Maintain detailed patient records using our advanced EMR system
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs ensuring quality care standards
- Participate in unit safety initiatives and continuous improvement projects
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (night shift preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced overnight environment
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
