Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Utilize advanced monitoring systems for critical care patients during overnight hours
- Document patient encounters with precision using Epic EMR systems
- Lead rapid response team activations during emergency situations
- Mentor new nursing staff through our structured orientation program
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana (or compact state)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years acute care experience with night shift background
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory
- Strong proficiency in electronic medical documentation
- Demonstrated critical thinking and crisis management skills
- Ability to maintain composure during high-pressure overnight scenarios
- Commitment to continuous professional development
